The Argentinian superstar spoke during a press conference about his current shape, how he feels with new coach Luis Enrique, and his known rivalry with Madrid's striker.

Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi talked with the press today addressing several subjects, including his rivalry with Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and his relationship with Neymar and his coach, Luis Enrique.

For Messi, the issues with Cristiano Ronaldo are simple:

"I'm not competing against him. I'm just doing my job, I have no interest in being compared to him. I just care about winning with my team. I don't care about individual trophies, I just want to win here," Messi told the press.

Regarding Barcelona's coach, Messi stated Luis Enrique has some new techniques that benefit his playing style:

"He gave me freedom to move all around the pitch. I don't have to be near the box to play, so I have been able to assist my teammates much more than before. He wants other players to be in the box and it has suited me just fine," the Argentinian explained.

Messi also had time to talk about his teammate Neymar, claiming they have a great relationship that can be fruitful for Barcelona on the long run:

"He is a great lad. This year we have been associating more, which can only make things better for us. It's my pleasure to share the pitch with him, and I believe he's got the potential to get wherever he wants. He may end up being the best player in the world," Messi added.
