After a two straight draws against recently promoted sides, Milan will hope to get back on track against Chievo at home on Saturday, October 4th. Find out where to catch the game online & on TV here.

After a bright start, Milan have already started to wobble. A loss to Juventus was then followed by frustrating draws with two newly promoted outfits--Empoli and Cesena--and now the Rossoneri will have to try again to get things moving. With no European football, the team's fans will expect the Diavolo to make amends for their poor showings last season and new coach Filippo Inzaghi must already be feeling the pressure on his shoulders.

The former striker bemoaned his team's lack of concentration after being held to a draw in their last game, yet refused to lay blame at any specific player's feet:

"I'm not going to point fingers at who and who was distracted...but we had the game in hand in the first half. [However], in the second period we became stretched and it became too hard to win," he noted in his post-match press conference.

"[So], while it's disappointing not to win, we still have a long season ahead of us."

At present, Milan have now slipped down into fifth place, behind Scudetto favorites Juventus and Roma as well as Udinese and now Sampdoria. Currently level on points with cross-town rivals Inter (but ahead thanks to a slightly better goal differential), they will be keen on earning all three points at home against Chievo, a team that are also struggling this season.

The Flying Donkeys do not have a good record against the Rossoneri, whether it is at the San Siro or in their own backyard. Last season, they lost this fixture 3-0 yet were able to hold on for a scoreless stalemate at home, a shock result as the last time they were able to earn even one point, let alone three, was way back during the 2005/2006 league campaign.

However, just four points do divide these two sides, with a win being crucial as it will help Milan close the gap on Juventus and Roma, and Chievo, of course, to move up in the table. So, given this, hopefully fans will be in for an interesting 90 minutes of action this Saturday.
