Real Madrid and AC Milan announced today the celebration of a friendly match to be held December 30 in Dubai. The game will be part of the "Dubai Football Challenge", and will be played at the 7evens Stadium.
Legends like Italian Franco Baresi and Spanish Emilio Butragueño represented both teams in the unveiling hosted by the Dubai's Ministry of Commerce and Tourism. The match will have the added bonus of watching former Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez take on his former team, after signing his new contract with the Italian side this summer.
Real Madrid will hardly enjoy any rest during the winter break, since they will participate in the Club World Cup, where the final match will be played December 20. Los Blancos may face clubs like Mexican Cruz Azul or Argentinian San Lorenzo de Almagro, but they will know which side they're going to play against on October 11, when FIFA draws the tournament.
Carlo Ancelotti's team will compete in the Club World Cup with the objective of winning the tournament for the first time ever.
