The 2014 World Cup winner came back to haunt Manchester City with a last-gasp goal to beat former teammate Joe Hart.

It took them the entire game, but Bayern Munich finally found their way past Manchester City, who looked set to hold on for an impressive draw at the Allianz Arena.

However it was not new striker Robert Lewandowski, nor attackers such as Thomas Muller and Arjen Robben to pop up with the game winner, but rather defender Jerome Boateng, who will surely not forget this goal in a hurry.

Despite Joe Hart's excellent performance between the sticks, the 26-year-old, who can boast having won the World Cup and Champions League in two successive years, grabbed the match-deciding goal via a fantastic strike that took a deflection and ended up past the English international.
