During the UEFA Coach Forum, Mourinho refused to talk about his former club, Real Madrid, but was supportive of Luis Enrique and his methods as a player and coach.

Chelsea’s coach Jose Mourinho had kind words for newly appointed Barcelona coach Luis Enrique. The pair worked together at Barcelona during Mou’s career as an assistant for Bobby Robson, and Mourinho expressed his respect for the Spanish manager:

“I’ve always been an admirer of Luis Enrique’s work. I respect him very much not only as a coach, but as a person. He was always available to play even if it wasn’t his position. He would have been a goalie if you asked him to. It’s the first time we’ve met since I left Barcelona, and I was very happy to meet him. I wish him the best of luck,” Mourinho said.

After praising Luis Enrique, Mourinho refused to talk about Real Madrid, but had a few words for his former player, Fernando Torres:

“He is a fantastic lad and a fantastic player. We will miss him at Chelsea, but I think it was time for him to make a change. I’m an Inter Milan fan myself, but I wish him all the success playing for AC Milan,” Mou added.

Jose Mourinho will receive a plaque celebrating his 100th game coached in European competitions along with Shakhtar’s Mircea Lucescu and Napoli’s Rafa Benitez.
