Via Twitter, the Czech Republic’s first-choice goalkeeper announced the decision regarding his future.

Despite the rumors regarding a potential exit from Chelsea after Thibaut Courtois arrival, Peter Cech confirmed via Twitter on Monday that he will be staying with the ‘Blues’ at least until the next transfer window opens in January.

Cech joined Chelsea in 2004 and has made 326 appearances with the club since. The 32-year-old has been the starting goalkeeper for most of the managers during his time at the club but his fate changed with the comeback of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who became Mourinho’s first choice goalkeeper for the start of the season.

Apparently Mourinho convinced Petr Cech to stay as the Portuguese said last week that he might be rotating the goalkeepers.

Cech announced his decision on Twitter.

Fans reactions followed, praising Cech's decision.
