Los Blancos fans will get the opportunity to watch James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos play their first game in Real Madrid's white jersey when they take on Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup

Real Madrid's summer signing James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos will both be handed their debuts when the Liga BBVA giants take on Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday, revealed Carlo Ancelotti.

The 24-year-old German midfielder, signed for an undisclosed fee, played an integral part in die Mannschaft's World Cup triumph, whilst the 23-year-old Colombian ace's impressive form in front of goal earned him the World Cup Golden Boot award prior to his £63m Santiago Bernabeu switch.

When asked in a pre-match conference for the game, being held at the Cardiff City Stadium, whether the world would get a glimpse of the duo in Les Merengues' famous white shirt, the Italian coach responded with: "Yes, they will both be in the line-up."

The 55-year-old manager also gave an update on the status of their Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who was nursing a knee injury during the World Cup in Brazil, stating the 29-year-old is fit to play.

"Cristiano is well."

"He has no problem. He's worked with the others at maximum intensity and I believe he's in good physical condition.

"He's participated in everything and is ready to play this match. He's facing this season with a positive spirit."

One Los Blancos star who has been gathering a lot of media attention is Angel Di Maria. The Argentine, one of Champions League winners' star player from last season, is heavily tipped with a Real Madrid exit, but the former AC Milan boss refused to discuss the 26-year-old's future at the club.

"This is an issue that we don't need to talk about now, facing this match.

"What I can tell you is that we have trained for this match in order to play well and Angel has joined in the training. We're lucky this topic has not come up in the changing room.

"He's come very concentrated on this task and as far as his future's concerned, we can't tell how that will pan out. We must wait until August 31 (when the transfer window closes)."
