Real Madrid are reportedly inching closer to making yet another huge signing, with this time the focus being Monaco's James Rodriguez.

It looks to be another busy summer for Real Madrid.

Fresh off signing Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos, the 10-time Champions League winners are now rumored to be moving closer to securing the signature of Colombia's young star James Rodriguez.

The Monaco attacker burst onto the world stage at this year's World Cup, in which he finished as the tournament's top scorer with six goals, ahead of players like Thomas Muller, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.

He was highly instrumental in Los Cafeteros making their best run in history--all the way to the quarter-finals after a 16-year hiatus, and has made no secret of his desire to depart Ligue 1 in favor of La Liga.

"I’ve said in the past that I’d like to play in Spain one day, because it is a league that is good technically, and where you get a lot of touches on the ball, which is my style," he noted whilst at an event in Brazil.

According to reports, the capital titans are set to pony up £63 million for him, a massive +£25 million more than was paid for him by Monaco a year ago when he arrived from Porto.
