After his contract with Chelsea expired, Eto'o is looking to join a new club as a free agent.

Eto’o’s one year contract with Chelsea expired on June 30th of this year. As a free agent, the Cameroonian is looking for a new club to play with. Teams from all over the globe are interested, yet the 33-year-old’s high salary demands turned many clubs away.

That is why the African striker is now considering a move to the United States, where clubs are more forgiving of players’ age and high salary demands. Initially, Eto’o had offered himself to Roma, but the club turned him away as they are looking for younger and more solid prospects.

At Chelsea, the Cameroonian was not happy. Mourinho, who failed to win anything this season, was caught saying that former Barcelona forward was 35 years old rather than 32, which is what is believed to be the player’s age.
