Lionel Messi led his Argentina side into their second match of the 2014 World Cup being held in Brazil.
The South American nation's campaign started of shaky as the two-time champions narrowly beat Bosnia-Herzegovina by a 2-1 scoreline.
And as La Albiceleste and their Barcelona skipper stepped onto the Estádio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte, a convincing win for Argentina was highly expected.
However, this didn't happen as Alejandro Sabella's squad found it difficult to break down the resilient Iranian defense.
That was until Messi stepped up.
The 26-year-old ace scored a beautiful 91st minute winner to seal the match and all three points for his home side, guaranteeing them a spot in the round of 16.
This sparked a craze all over Twitter as the four-time Ballon d'Or winner put in another Man of the Match display.
