If rumors are to be believed, another high-profile Barcelona star will be no longer at Camp Nou this upcoming season.

Barcelona may be saying adios to another of its biggest stars this summer.

Captain Carles Puyol had already announced that last season would be his final at Camp Nou, and veteran goalkeeper Victor Valdes saw his career cut short due to an injury.

And now, Xavi could be another that may be no longer in the Blaugrana jersey at the start of the 2014-2015 season. The Spanish midfielder, who has long been an instrumental key in Barca's success, has been repeatedly linked with an exit either to the Middle East or possibly MLS.

With Cesc Fabregas already gone, Xavi could be yet another Spanish midfielder leaving Camp Nou

As per Barcelona publication SPORT, Al Arabi will be his next destination, with the manager, Dan Petrescu claiming that the Qatari club had already secured a pre-contract agreement with the 34-year-old.

"Xavi has signed a pre-contract with Al Arabi. It is likely that he has offers from other clubs too," the Romanian stated.

"If Xavi comes here, we'll be able to attract bigger names...[so] naturally, I would like to [have him on] our team. [Additionally], Al Arabi can give him €8m per year".
