Two of Bayern Munich's finest players, Philipp Lahm and Thomas Mueller, agreed with the Bavarian club to extend their contracts.

Both Bayern Munich’s stars, Philipp Lahm and Thomas Mueller, renewed their agreements with the Bavarian club. The german champions announced the news through their official website. While the right-back renewed for another four years, the German attacker renewed until 2019.

Bayern Munich FC revealed through Twitter that Lahm is happy for the renewal, because it has always been his dream to finish his career with the Bavarian club

Although Lahm’s future at Bayern was never in doubt, Mueller’s renewal is a vital sign that he believes in Guardiola’s project. Not to long ago, according to Bild, the German forward had revealed:

“I have come to a point where I want to know if I am an important part of the future starting line-up in Bavaria. And (I need to know) if the club really has plans for me in the coming years. That is why I have asked for a conversation.”

Mueller reassured his fans by posting the great news on his personal Twitter page

The Bavarian champions shared on Twitter that their forward is happy to stay at Bayern in the coming years 

Mueller has been continuously linked with a move to Old Trafford, as Van Gaal had expressed appreciation for the player on different occasions. Yet another Manchester United’s target fizzling away from the Red Devils.
