Carletto also talked about Di Maria’s situation, due to rumors that would see the Argentine leave the Santiago Bernabeu. With regards to the left midfielder, los Blancos’ manager stated:

“I think that Di Maria knows everyone loves him. The boss loves him, the club does and so do the fans. I think he knows this.”

Di Maria had an amazing season and is expected to stay with los Blancos

Moreover, the Italian coach also mentioned Morata, a promising player who has been extremely frustrated by his inability to find playing time. With regards to the youngster, Ancelotti revealed:

If he could find the chance of playing it would be good that he had the chance for a year. If Morata goes then we'll have to think about signing a similar striker with the same characteristics, a youngster."

Morata is a promising player, but with Benzema on the team there just is no room for him
