Coverage includes 22 hours of live action over six days on Setanta Sports Canada

TORONTO (August 21, 2009) – Manchester United travel to DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic in week two action from the Barclays Premier League Saturday, August 22 at 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT live on Setanta Sports.

The match is part of a Saturday on Setanta that also features live action from the Russian Premier League, Ligue 1 and the Coca Cola Championship.

England’s top league is also in the spotlight on Setanta Sunday when early surprise Tottenham Hotspur visit West Ham to take on the Hammers live at 8:30 a.m. ET/ 5:30 a.m. PT. The Spurs knocked off Premier League giant Liverpool 2-1 in their opener. Tottenham followed that up by blitzing Hull City 5-1 on Wednesday to leave the Spurs atop the league table.
 

 

Liverpool looks to rebound from that opening match defeat at the hands of Tottenham when they host Aston Villa Monday, August 24 at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 noon PT.

The UEFA Champions League takes over on Setanta Tuesday and Wednesday. First up, Atletico Madrid hold a 3-2 aggregate lead over Panathinaikos when the two clubs clash in the second leg of their play-off round match Tuesday, August 25 at 2:45 p.m. ET/ 11:45 a.m. PT live on Setanta.

The live Champions League tilt on Wednesday, August 26 at 2:45 p.m. ET/ 11:45 a.m. PT pits English Premier League side Arsenal against Scottish Premier League club Celtic. Arsenal took the first leg of the series by a 2-0 score at Celtic Park. 

Live soccer action continues on Setanta Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 noon PT with first round Carling Cup coverage as Crystal Palace host Manchester City.
