Germany and Schalke 04 star midfielder Julian Draxler was involved in a car accident in a driving event in Northern Italy, where the national team is currently training, hitting two men with a vehicle.
The 20-year-old ace, who was a passanger in the vehicle, was accompanied by fellow Die Königsblauen team-mate Benedikt Hoewedes, but in separate cars, when this incident happened in a closed circuit near the team's hotel.
Fortunately for the two die Mannschaft players, who were both named in Germany's 30-man provisional 2014 World Cup squad, they did not pick up any injuries and resumed training with Joachim Low's men.

Unfortunately, though, the two other men in the accident were deeply wounded with one being described as “seriously injured”, having to be airlifted to hospital.
