Seattle Sounders FC vs New York Red Bulls Match Preview
The Eastern Conference leading New York Red Bulls will travel to face the Seattle Sounders on Thursday night.
Both teams will enter this game in good form, the Red Bulls are unbeaten in six games and drew 3-3 at the Portland Timbers last time out. The Sounders are unbeaten in their last four contests, and won 1-0 at Vancouver Whitecaps FC over the weekend.
The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at 10pm (Eastern Time).
O’Brian White, Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans are all out injured for Seattle, while Jhon Kennedy Hurtado is suspended. Taylor Graham is doubtful with a calf strain and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
Thierry Henry is suspended for the Red Bulls, while fellow striker Luke Rodgers is ruled out with a foot problem. Carl Robinson and Chris Albright are out injured, while Rafael Marquez, Juan Agudelo and Tim Ream are away preparing for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final.
