Sporting Kansas City vs San Jose Earthquakes Match Preview
The in-form San Jose Earthquakes will travel to face Sporting Kansas City at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on Friday night.
The game will be nationally televised on Fox Soccer Channel, and will kick off at 8:30pm Eastern Time.
The Earthquakes will travel to Kansas City looking to extend a six game unbeaten streak and beat D.C. United 4-2 last time out. Sporting themselves are undefeated in their last four contests, and also scored four goals last time out, when they produced an impressive 4-1 win at FC Dallas.
Roger Espinoza and Shavar Thomas are away on international duty for Sporting, while Milos Stojcev is suspended. Konrad Warzycha and Craig Rocastle are sidelined with injury, while Mexican striker Omar Bravo is questionable with a back problem.
Andre Luiz is ruled out with injury for the Earthquakes, while defender Ike Opara is an injury doubt. Chris Wondolowski and Ryan Johnson are away playing in the CONCACAF Gold Cup for USA and Jamaica respectively.
