New England Revolution vs Toronto FC Match Preview
The Stanley Cup Finals are not the only New England v Canada sporting affair on Wednesday night.
The New England Revolution will play host to Toronto FC with both teams looking to climb back up the Eastern Conference and towards the playoff race. The Revolution will be looking to avoid their fifth straight defeat after losing 2-1 at the New York Red Bulls last weekend.
Toronto FC will be looking to snap a six game winless streak, but the Reds will be heartened by their late fight back to earn a 2-2 draw at the Los Angeles Galaxy over the weekend courtesy of two Alan Gordon goals.
Midfield pair Benny Feilhaber and Marko Perovic will both be sidelined for the Revolution with ankle and knee injuries respectively.
Last weekend’s hero Alan Gordon is listed as questionable for TFC, while Gianluca Zavarise and Alen Stevanovic are also injury doubts. Adrian Cann and Nana Attakora are both sidelined with injury for the Reds.
