DC United vs New York Red Bulls Match Preview
D.C. United will play host to the New York Red Bulls on Thursday with both teams coming off impressive 3-0 wins.
United beat Toronto FC last week with USA striker Charlie Davies on the score sheet again, while the Red Bulls downed the San Jose Earthquakes with Thierry Henry netting his first goal of the season.
Defensive duo Devon McTavish and Jed Zayner are ruled out for United, while Steve Cronin and Junior Carreiro are sidelined with injury.
Austin Da Luz, Corey Hertzog and Carlos Mendes are all sidelined with injury for the Red Bulls. Juan Agudelo could return, but striker Luke Rodgers will be hoping to keep his place in the New York attack after scoring twice in last weekend’s win over the Earthquakes.
