Spain vs Czech Republic Match Preview
The World Champions want to leave behind the bitterness of the last four friendly matches at Michal Bílek's expense.

Xavi will be playing his 100th game with the Fury, will he lead Spain towards a fourth consecutive European victory?
Things have gone awry for Vicente del Bosque's Spain after South Africa. Both Argentina and Portugal had an easy time against the World Champions, defeating them 4-1 and 4-0 respectively.
Weeks later, Spain failed to defeat Mexico, and even though they returned to victory against Colombia, the team showed a decayed version of itself, inaccurate and harmless.
Czech Repulic, on the other hand, is aware a victory can let them at the doorsteps of the European qualification. Lazio's Libor Kozak and goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik will be playing their first match with the Eastern National Football Team.
Reigning World and European champion Spain prepares to take on a direct rival for the next stage, will they succeed?
Carles Puyol's absence forces Vicente del Bosque to introduce a few modifications on his defensive scheme. Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos is likely to join Gerard Pique as full backs, while Joan Capdevilla and Alvaro Arbeloa lead the attack from the wings.
Bilek is confident he can surprise Spain and claim the three points, thank to Milan Baros' and Tomas Rosicky's massive firepower (Baros has scored 38 goals so far, Rosicky 20). "We must control key players as Xavi or Iniesta.. If we manage to thwart their football, they won't be able to play their game" said Czech Republic's coach.
Two world-class goalkeepers (Iker Casillas and Peter Cech) will be playing a major role in the development of the game. Czech Republic needs to sharpen its attack (three goals scored in three games in the group) without giving up many spaces in the defense. David Villa is one-goal away from leaving Raul Gonzalez behind as Spain's historic top striker.
"I've never seen such a clear favorite in my life" said Arsenal's midfielder Rosicky regarding their rival this week. Can the visitors do anything to stop Spain from securing its ticket to the next stage?
Spain vs Czech Republic Match Report
David Villa's double granted Spain a suffered victory against Czech Republic.

Andres Iniesta was the architect behind Fury's victory in Granada. Spain prolongs its leadership of Group I with perfect scoring.
Vicente del Bosque's Spain dominated the first half of the game, pushing Czech Republic against its own goal, but Peter Cech denied Fury's every attempt to open the score.
Andres Iniesta warned first at the third minute, but Chelsea's goalkeeper responded accordingly, deflecting the ball. Wingers Alvaro Arbeloa and Joan Capdevilla played a major role in the development of the game, feeding David Villa with numerous goal-scoring opportunities.
The most dangerous one came at the 26th minute, when Arbeloa found David Villa, who connected a powerful volley from inside the area, but it was not enough to beat Cech's goal. The game was about to take a radical twist as Jaroslav Plasil shot against Iker Casillas' goal for the first time in the game.
Arbeloa and Villa kept Czech defenders under a constant threat, dominating the aerial game and keeping Cech busy.
Girondins' gunner Plasil caught Roja's goalkeeper by surprise with a nearly-unstoppable mid-distance shot at the lower right angle at the 29th minute of the game. The goal froze the hosts.
The Eastern Europeans were to dominate the game for the next 40 minutes, thanks to Cech's excellent form. Tomas Rosicky did his best to lead the attack of the team without much success against one of the toughest defenses in Europe.
Spain's coach realized a strong offense was needed to unlock the game, and so Chelsea's Fernando Torres took over Xabi Alonso's place. Minutes later Santi Cazorla replaced Joan Capdevilla, allowing Spain to assume a much more offensive stance.
On the hour mark, Andres Iniesta assisted Sergio Ramos beautifully with a perfect cross, but Real Madrid's winger was unable to connect a header. Two minutes later, Iniesta himself shot against the goal but the ball went millimeters wide.
David Villa redeemed himself at the 69th minute when Iniesta assisted him inside the area. Villa eluded the defense and crossed the ball perfectly, leaving Cech with nothing to do to stop the Guaje from scoring the equalizer.
The goal boosted the morale of the World Champions, who were determined to claim the full scoring. Iniesta was challenged inside the box at the 72th minute, and Villa turned the penalty shot into a partial victory for Del Bosque's Rojos.
Spain celebrated a major victory in Granada. Iniesta's flawless form gave the team a major victory, while David Villa finally became Spain's top historic striker with a marvelous double.
