April 26 will go down in history as the day when Javier Mascherano started his goal scoring tally with Barcelona. The Argentinean midfielder needed almost seven years to send the ball into the back of the net, and he did so with a well-placed penalty against Salvarote Sirigu.
His shot became Barcelona's 100th goal in La Liga this season, and was celebrated by most of his team-mates with smiles and cheers from the bench.
Mascherano needed 319 games to send his first ball into the back of the net, prompting all sorts of reactions from fans and experts. Have a look at some of them below.
