The Italian club will look to sign another footballer after they learned the Belgian striker started to negotiate with one of their bitter rivals.

Just when Romelu Lukaku seemed destine to return to Inter Milan for good, the club has "punished" an alleged treason by their former striker and will stop pursuing a permanent deal for the Belgian.

Reports coming in from Italy state that Inter are set to look for other options to boost their attack, with Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram being considered as the top options up front. The club has made this decision due to Lukaku's disrespect against the team, which involved him having his agent to start negotiations with another Serie A club.

The article states that Lukaku gave his approval to see agent Sebastien Ledure starting negotiations with Juventus, which was seen as a betrayal by Inter execs wbho had already negotiated a cut-price fee with Chelsea for his services.

Now, Lukaku will have to hold on to whatever Juve decide, as the bianconeri will not be involved in European tournaments and will not have as much cash to splash this summer. Furthermore, the team is eager to sort things out with Dusan Vlahovic before they can agree terms with Lukaku.

Now, Inter are reportedly interested in hiring American striker Folarin Balogun, who has emerged as their top choice in detriment of Joaquín Correa and Lukaku himself.
