We are down to the last four games for each Liga MX team, and while the battle for the top spot seems to be a matter of three teams, nothing can be left off the table in terms of which clubs will make it to the play-in stage and eventually into the Liguilla.
América, Monterrey, and Toluca have proven to be quite dominant this season, with only two points separating the first two teams and Los Diablos. Speaking of those looking for the final spots to become playoff teams, Cruz Azul, Pachuca and Tigres have the upper hand over the rest, with an added interest in the game between two of those clubs this weekend. To top it all, there is still controversy and drama involving two of the league's "Big Four", who have jeopardized their spot in the finals.

Tigres UANL vs Pachuca - The team from the North side of Mexico will host one of the toughest teams in the league. Los Tuzos have proven both in the domestic tournament and in the Concacaf Champions Cup that they should be considered title contenders, even after losing three league matches in a row. This clash could have serious implications for the playoffs, as Tigres are fourth and in pole position to reach the playoffs. Meanwhile, Los Tuzos are seventh but a win here could see them overtaking Siboldi's men in the playoff race. Either way, it's a match no football fan should miss, with players as André-Pierre Gignac and Salomón Rondón ready to make a difference.

Cruz Azul vs Monterrey - Monterrey will get to this game in high spirits following their Concacaf Champions Cup win over Inter Miami, but facing Cruz Azul will not be easy. The hosts have only won once in their last five, and one more loss here could see them leave playoff territory. Rayados were unbeaten until last week's match against Chivas, which should give them enough motivation to bounce back, win this game, and get ready for their return leg of the Champions Cup clash against Messi and Co. As for Cruz Azul, winning this game would give them an ego boost for two different reasons: they would end their current slump, and they would also conclude Monterrey's streak against them when playing as hosts, since La Máquina has not been able to beat Rayados in their last five games (three losses, two draws).

Santos Laguna vs América - The league leaders enter dangerous territory against Santos, a team that has not been at the top of their game but that have always found a way to put up a fight against Las Águilas. Before Saturday's game kicks off, América holds a seven-game run without a loss against Los Laguneros, which includes four wins and three draws.
