First it was New York, then came Toronto FC. The dominance of Liga MX teams in CONCACAF seems to be coming to an end, and the Reds managed to capitalize on Tigres' mistakes to make it to the tournament's semifinals.

Speaking about the man of the match, Italian midfielder Sebastian Giovinco lived up to the hype by scoring the decisive goal for Toronto. The Reds needed to score two goals at Tigres' stadium, and Giovinco made a crucial free kick with 17 minutes left to seal their spot in the next stage.

However, we get the feeling that Giovinco's shot could have been saved by goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman, because he barely made an effort to get to the ball but failed to clear it.
