Roma fans can be proud about their team, as they managed to break a hoodoo when playing in European competitions.
The Giallorossi managed to make it past the first KO stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in ten years, thanks to the away goals rule. Tonight, a tap in by Edin Dzeko sealed the deal for Eusebio Di Francesco's men, adding their name to Juventus' as the only Italian teams left in the competition.
Dzeko's form had fans questioning the coach's support, but he seems to have found it back when they needed him the most.

Why should Roma fans be confident about their chances? These numbers might give you an idea.
Was it the most spell-binding spectacle? No. But Roma have not conceded a goal at the Olimpico in this year's Champions League despite facing Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and a Shakhtar team with some serious talent up front. Di Francesco deserves credit.
