The French striker did not waste any time to score his first goal against the defending UCL champions, but he had a bit of help from the German keeper.

The first leg of the "rematch" between Bayern and PSG turned out to be quite surprising, especially since one of the most reliable players in the German squad failed to step up when required.

That man was none other than Manuel Neuer, who failed to clear what seemed to be an easy shot on goal by Kylian Mbappé. Instead, the German shot-stopper saw the ball slip through his hands and legs and into the back of the net for PSG's opener.

Mbappé managed to score after an impressive run by Neymar, who left him all alone inside Bayern's box. The French striker's shot was not as accurate as he would have wanted, but Neuer's performance was far from what fans believed he could do to parry the shot.
