The MLS Supporter’s Shield winning Los Angeles Galaxy will complete their regular season slate with a trip to face the Houston Dynamo.
Houston will be looking for a win to improve their seeding ahead of a midweek wildcard playoff game, while Los Angeles have already secured a bye into the MLS Cup Quarterfinals.

The Galaxy can set the all-time MLS record for points accumulated during the regular season with a win in Houston.

This game will also decide which player will lead the MLS in assists, with Dynamo playmaker Brad Davis and LA midfielder David Beckham currently tied for the league lead with 15 each.

Midfielder Cam Weaver has a hip injury and will be unable to play for the Dynamo.

Sean Alvarado and Bryan Jordan are sidelined with injury for LA, while Robbie Keane and Leonardo are also ruled out.

Beckham, Landon Donovan and Donovan Ricketts are injury doubts for LA, while Gregg Berhalter and Sean Franklin will also be assessed ahead of kickoff.
 

D.C. United will play host to the Portland Timbers on Wednesday with the playoff hopes of both teams on the line.





Portland are three points behind the final wildcard spot having played one game less than the 10th placed New York Red Bulls. United are two points further back, and must win both of their remaining games to stand a chance of playoff qualification.





Branko Boskovic, Chris Pontius and Jed Zayner are sidelined with injury for United, while Dejan Jakovic should be fit to play.





Striker Charlie Davies is healthy but was restricted to a role off the bench in last weekend’s 2-1 loss to the Chicago Fire.





A disgruntled Davies spoke to the official MLS website about his frustration over playing time. “I’m physically fine, I can only do so much with the time that I have. I’m a guy that expects to play 90 minutes,” said the USA international striker. “I’m fit, I’m healthy, and it’s disappointing when you want to get the playing time to help the team win, and you only get 20, 15 minutes. I’ve done all I can do.”





The Timbers have a lengthy injury list that includes Adin Brown, Kevin Goldthwaite and Eddie Johnson. Darlington Nagbe, Spencer Thompson and Sal Zizzo are also ruled out.





Midfielder Jack Jewsbury will be a key presence for the Timbers, having registered seven goals and eight assists so far this season.



The New York Red Bulls will qualify for the MLS Cup playoffs with a win over the Philadelphia Union on ESPN2 tonight (8:30pm ET).





The Red Bulls currently occupy the final wildcard spot and have a two-point cushion over the chasing pack. The Union have already qualified for the playoffs, and will move on top of the Eastern Conference standings with a win or draw at Red Bull Arena.





Chris Albright and Sacir Hot are sidelined with injury for the Red Bulls, while Carl Robinson and Mike Jones are also ruled out.





Thierry Henry is suspended for New York, meaning English striker Luke Rodgers will lead the Red Bull attack.





Thorne Holder and Levi Houapeu are sidelined with injury for Philadelphia, while Joe Tait is doubtful with an ankle sprain.



Eastern Conference rivals Toronto FC and the New England Revolution will be playing for pride when they clash at BMO Field.





Toronto have already been eliminated from the playoff race, while New England will be looking to lift themselves off the bottom of the conference.





Elbekay Bouchiba, Adrian Cann and Dicoy Williams are also sidelined with injury for Toronto. Richard Eckersley and Demitrius Omphroy are injury doubts for Toronto, while Joao Plata and Oscar Cordon will also be assessed ahead of kickoff.





Diego Fagundez, Stephen McCarthy and Sainey Nyassi are sidelined with injury for New England, while Matt Reis and A.J. Soares are also ruled out.



The playoff bound Colorado Rapids will be looking to finish the season on a high note when they travel to face the already eliminated Vancouver Whitecaps FC.





Atiba Harris and Brian Sylvestre are sidelined with injury for Vancouver, while Jonathan Leathers, Carlyle Mitchell and Russell Teibert are listed as questionable.





The Rapids are without injured duo Conor Casey and Anthony Wallace, while Pablo Mastroeni and Jamie Smith are injury doubts. Defender Drew Moor will be unavailable for the Rapids due to suspension.



Sporting Kansas City can seal the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs with a win at D.C. United.





United had their own playoff hopes ended in midweek courtesy of a 1-1 draw with the Portland Timbers.

Tony Tchani and Robbie Rogers are injury doubts for the Crew and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.



Real Salt Lake can secure a top three spot in the Western Conference with a win over the Portland Timbers on Saturday.





Salt Lake will receive a bye through the midweek wildcard rounds if the match the result of 4th placed FC Dallas, while Portland are already eliminated from the playoff race.





Nelson Gonzalez is out with a broken foot for Salt Lake, while Kyle Beckerman is suspended. Will Johnson is struggling with an ankle sprain and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
