Most-watched soccer games in the USA: November 13-19, 2023

Argentina's recent FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uruguay garnered admirable viewership numbers for Telemundo in what was a promising week for NBCUniversal's Spanish-language television network.

The viewership numbers for soccer games in the USA for November 13-19, 2023, are in, and with the international break dominating that period, the beautiful game suffered a drop in audience.

In fact, only five matches garnered over 150,000 average viewers, with the FIFA World Cup qualifier between Argentina and Uruguay and the USMNT's victory over Trinidad and Tobago in the CONCACAF Nations League taking the top two spots.

The aforementioned showdown between La Albiceleste and La Celeste reigned supreme, with just under one million average viewers tuning in to Telemundo to watch the Uruguayans beat the World Cup holders 2-0.

Meanwhile, USMNT came in at second with their 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago, which earned 869,000 average viewers for Telemundo. This was a CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal, with the Stars and Stripes ultimately winning over two legs to make the finals and qualify for next year's Copa America.

And finally, we have Mexico's first-leg defeat to Honduras in the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals. El Tri lost 2-0, with just under 600,000 average viewers tuning in to TUDN to catch this surprising result. The North American giants did turn things around in the second leg, thus progressing to the finals, albeit by the skin of their teeth, and qualifying for next year's Copa America along the way.
