Spanish club Valencia have officially signed Nani from Fenerbahçe for £7.25m on a three-year deal.

On Monday, Stoke City expressed interest in the Portugal international, aiming to bring him back to England. However, an agreement has been made with Valencia for the former Premier League player, as he will join Los Ches in the upcoming 2016/2017 campaign.

A statement issued by Valencia said:

“Valencia have reached an agreement with Portugal international Luis Carlos Almeida da Cunha ‘Nani’ that ties the player to our club for the next three seasons.”

The former Manchester United man joined Fenerbahce in 2015 on a three-year contract. He made 46 appearances for the Turkish side last season, netting 12 goals. The club claimed second place in the Turkish Super Lig.

In addition, the Portuguese winger has been one of the stand-out performers for his national team at Euro 2016, scoring twice in his five appearances.
