Barcelona handed a massive blow to Real Madrid by beating them for the second time in three days, leaving Solari's men out of the title race.

El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona left a few talking points, especially those that have to do with the minimal chances Los Blancos have of winning La Liga.

Barcelona created a 12-point gap between them and their bitter rivals with Saturday's win, but there were a number of stats that will be drilled in the memory of Barcelona fans around the world added to that 1-0 win over Los Blancos.

First off, Saturday's win saw Barcelona leapfrog Real Madrid in the overall tally between both clubs. It's the first time in over 70 years that something like this has happened in the history of this rivalry.

Next, Barcelona also walked away from the Bernabeu with a third straight win in league matches. How many teams had been able to do that previously? None!

Added to those numbers, Santiago Solari also managed to make history for all the wrong reasons in his third game against Los Blaugranas.

"Solari is the first Real Madrid coach to walk away from his first three official Clásicos without a win since Leo Beenhakker in 1987 (four)."

But La Liga is not only about Real Madrid and Barcelona. There are other teams involved that had things to celebrate, such as Atlético Madrid. Simeone's side represents the only realistic threat to Barcelona's title hopes, and one of their summer signings had a day to remember on Sunday.
