Has Colombia's World Cup star just confirmed his next destination?

Yerry Mina's recent activity on Instagram seems to have lifted the lid on where he might be heading for the upcoming league season. The 23-year-old defender who joined Barcelona in January from Brazilian club Palmerias, failed to cement a starting eleven spot for the Catalans last season but impressed massively for Colombia at Russia 2018 before their Round of 16 elimination.

With the defender in pursuit of active football, he has been recently linked with a loan move to Everton, a club that has already acquired the signature of his teammate Lucas Digne.

However, a report by Spanish publication Don Balon revealed that Manchester United – who is believed to be interested in Leicester’s Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweirald of Tottenham Hotspur – has submitted a €21 million bid to sign the Colombian defender from Barcelona.

The validity of the claim is further strengthened by the fact that Yerry Mina has removed Barcelona’s name from the bio of his official Instagram account and has started following the Old Trafford outfit.

It might not directly confirm the move but the possibility of an imminent move can not be overruled with Manchester United actively looking to sign a center-back.
