English Premier League (2015-16 Season) – USA Broadcasters

In the USA, NBC has secured exclusive Premier League rights, so you can enjoy comprehensive English-language coverage of the matches on the main NBC channel, NBCSN, Premier League Extra Time, USA Network, as well as other sister channels of the network. NBC Sports Live Extra provides live streaming of the full 380 games online and on Android/iOS mobile devices.

You can also watch live EPL games in Spanish on NBC Universo and Telemundo, with simulcast coverage on the channels’ online streaming service and mobile app, NBC Deportes En Vivo Extra.

Online live commentary is also available through Westwood One Sports and TalkSport Radio’s international feed.

English Premier League (2015-16 Season) – Canada Broadcasters

In Canada, you can follow the Premier League live on TV on Sportsnet. Specifically, broadcasts are available on Sportsnet World, Sportsnet One, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet Pacific, Sportsnet East and Sportsnet West. Matches are also accessible online through the network’s streaming service, Sportsnet World Now.

Following a direct agreement with the Premier League, TSN and RDS likewise have the rights to cover approximately 190 matches this season on their English and French channels. While TSN’s match picks are spread on its five feeds – TSN1, TSN2, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN5 – RDS’ broadcasts can be enjoyed on RDS and RDS2. 2014-15 EPL champions Chelsea qualified automatically along with runners-up Manchester City and Arsenal. Finishing in fourth position – five points behind the Top Three zone – were Manchester United. This is where they demolished Club Brugge 7-1 on aggregate to book their spot in the group stages of the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League.

Finishing fifth with 64 points, Tottenham Hotspur went straight into the UEFA Europa League group stages. With Arsenal winning the FA Cup (which offered an Europa League spot) but already in the Champions League, sixth-placed Liverpool were given automatic tickets. Seventh-placed Southampton and Fair Play winners West Ham United made it into the Third and First qualifying rounds, respectively. There were also very expensive deals such as Memphis Depay’s £31M switch from PSV to Old Trafford, the former home of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. Anthony Martial’s £36M signing from AS Monaco on Transfer Deadline Day was branded as the “craziest” while the Red Devils’ rivals, Manchester City, had earlier completed the most expensive buys by bringing Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for £49M and Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg for £55M. Meanwhile, Angel Di Maria’s departure to PSG was the most lucrative one, valued at £44.3M.

What were the biggest managerial changes before the start of the season?

At West Ham United, Sam Allardyce was replaced with Croatian coach Slaven Bilic. Newcastle United, meanwhile, sacked John Carver and brought in former England national team manager Steve McClaren.
