Kylian Mbappe is one of the hottest players in world football and with the Frenchman set to leave PSG this summer, it came as little surprise to see several European heavyweights getting linked with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
One of those clubs are Manchester City, the UEFA Champions League and Premier League title holders that won an unforgettable treble last season. The Cityzens are one of a few teams with the title credentials and spending power to attract Kylian but could the 25-year-old move to the Etihad Stadium?
The Spanish manager was asked about this rumor during his pre-match press conference for Tuesday's tricky showdown with Brentford but in typical Guardiola fashion, Pep gave a cheeky response.
When asked for his thoughts on Mbappe, the 53-year-old tactician replied "I think he's quite good, he has a future" before eventually laughing. Check it out in the clip below.

Guardiola's response is understandable. While several top clubs have been linked with Mbappe, it is well-known where the Frenchman will be headed this summer.
According to a report by Marca, the Ligue 1 sensation has already signed an agreement with Real Madrid and while this has not been officially communicated, this report did not shock fans of the beautiful game.
Kylian's desire to don the iconic Blancos jersey is well-documented. The former Monaco starlet came close to a Santiago Bernabeu switch in 2022 and while he unexpectedly extended his Parc des Princes deal, the World Cup winner is now ready to leave Paris for the Spanish capital.
Manchester City, on the other hand, are expected to welcome highly-rated Brazilian winger Savio, who is currently impressing on loan at Girona. However, the club's focus remains solely on the season and not on the transfer window.
Haaland and Co. have dropped to third in the Premier League table following their weekend draw at home to Chelsea. The Cityzens have a game in hand over both second-placed Arsenal and league-leaders Liverpool. However, Pep's side cannot leapfrog the Merseyside giants even if they win that extra game.
