The second semi-final of the Copa América Centenario will be taking place on Wednesday. Colombia and Chile will be the two teams fighting for a spot in the final match, in a game that promises a wide range of emotions for football fans around the world.
The team coached by Nestor Pékerman was already considered to be one of the strongest sides in the competition, and they have confirmed all forecasts by beating talented teams such as the USMNT & Perú on the road to the semi-finals.
On the other side of the pitch, the defending champions struggled to adapt to their new coach, but things look better than ever for them after destroying Mexico in the Quarter-final stage. After winning the 2015 edition, Chile's goal of winning back-to-back titles could become a reality, considering they have one of the most talented generations in their team's history.
Let's see how these teams are getting ready to face each other at Soldier Field.
Colombia
Los Cafeteros made it to the knockout stage of the competition as Group A's runner up. Their quarter-final matchup against Perú delivered one of the most tense games of the tournament, with both sides unable to score the game-winning goal. The penalty shootout gave Arsenal's goalkeeper David Ospina a chance to shine, stopping one of Perú's attempts on goal and giving La Selección Colombia the chance to win the game.

Pekerman will have a full squad to choose from when he faces Chile, with Farid Díaz being the only exception due to a calf injury.
Chile
La Roja was baptized under fire in the Copa América Centenario, having to face Argentina in their opening match of Group D. After two consecutive wins, Juan Antonio Pizzi's managed to achieve the biggest with for Chile in any major tournament, by beating Mexico 7-0 in the Quarter-final stage. During the course of that game, striker Edu Vargas scored a poker for La Roja, while Alexis Sánchez goal propelled him to the second place of the team's all-time goal scorers list.
Sánchez's timely goal made things a lot easier for Chile against Mexico.

Despite their successful streak, coach Pizzi will have to deal with the absence of one of his key players. Arturo Vidal will have to watch the game from the sidelines after being booked against Mexico, forcing the Spanish boss to change the team's lineup. Furthermore, Marcelo Díaz was subbed off during the game against El Tri due to a thigh strain, and his presence in the semi-final seems doubtful
