The striker missed last week's match as a precaution, but this time there is no apparent reason to cause this snub.

Life in France without Kylian Mbappé will not be easy for PSG, which is why their coach decided to...bench the player?

In what seems like some sort of retaliation against the footballer following his decision to leave the club next summer, PSG's manager Luis Enrique has decided to send Mbappé to the bench for their game against Nantes tonight.

The footballer was seen entering Stade de la Beaujoire visibly upset, giving a cold nod to fans inside the tunnel. While there has been no indication of Luis Enrique's reasons to bench Mbappé this would not be the first time when PSG's bosses have asked the coach to start a game without their star man.

This is the second Ligue 1 game in a row in which Mbappé has been benched by Luis Enrique. Last week's match against Lille did not represent an issue for Les Parisiens, but this time it could be a bit different for the current league leaders.
