The striker will be free to negotiate with whichever club he wants on January 1, and another chapter of the transfer saga could be added in coming weeks.

We are heading into one more transfer window, and it seems that Kylian Mbappé's future will once again become one of the most interesting topics to cover.

In that light, there are some who are following his situation closely and are in a position to share additional details of the player's intentions and how PSG intend to handle a potential contract extension.

According to reputed RMC Sport journalist Daniel Riolo, the player should make up his mind about his future as soon as possible, mainly because his public image has taken a toll after some of his decisions, which include not speaking to journalists.

"Mbappé has not spoken out for over a year. Even when he is with the French national team, he has skipped meetings with the press despite being the team captain. He does not speak while at PSG, and he has chosen not to speak when with Les Bleus. He is afraid someone may ask a complicated question," Riolo stated.

The journalist stated how this decision has raised even more doubts regarding his future, but the option to leave the French side, according to Riolo, is growing with each passing minute.

"Years ago, he was a kid that feared nothing. Probably we will see the soap opera starting once more in January. To stay or not to stay, to extend or not. PSG believe they will be able to extend his deal, but since he has not shared his thoughts on that, and given he has not stated his intentions, we can hint that he could leave this time," Riolo added.

The journalists believes that both Real Madrid and PSG should add pressure on Mbappé to put an end on this transfer saga as quickly as they can.

"I have said it before: if I were a member of Real Madrid, I don't see why I would hire him knowing his contract. If I negotiated for Real Madrid, I'd give him two weeks to make up his mind. The same goes for PSG, they should try to sort this out swiftly. It has to be like that," the journalist stated.

Riolo also shared his concern on how PSG fans will take any delays from Mbappé regarding his decision.

"If Kylian takes more time to make up his mind, fans at Parc des Princes will not hesitate to insult him when he takes the pitch in less than one month, especially if he does not speak out and keeps isolating himself from the world. I had never seen such a talented player with such low popularity. I don't get that, but his decision not to speak may have something to do with his lack of praise. I would encourage him to speak up, because this history is turning into a major mess," Riolo concluded.
