The Brazilian right back was a key figure in the argument between the strikers, and Diego Forlán didn't waste time blasting them.

The argument between Edinson Cavani and Neymar keeps making waves, and now, Dani Alves and Diego Forlán have taken center-stage in the dispute between their compatriots.

Last night, Diego Forlán slammed Neymar & Alves for "disrespecting" Cavani, as he felt the pair teamed up to undermine his countryman.

"It doesn't make sense for Alves to take the ball away from Cavani to hand it to Neymar. It's wrong, Alves has no business being there. If Cavani is PSG's penalty taker since Ibrahimovic left, he should continue to do so out of respect. If the coach designated Cavani as the 1st-choice PK taker, then Neymar is the one to be blamed," Forlán told El Partidazo COPE last night.

But outspoken as he is, Dani Alves fired back via Twitter, slamming Forlan's words about his performance on Sunday with a couple of tweets.

"I don't know what game you saw, but FYI, I didn't take the ball away from anyone, I had the ball taken away from me!"

"And just so you know, the last free kick scored by PSG was taken by me, so shut your trap and stop making controversy with my name included."
