A piece of Turf Moor history was reduced to rubble today, as the brick-built control room was demolished. The former Police Box, situated in the corner of the stadium between the Bob Lord and Jimmy McIlroy Stands, has been torn down as part of the new Accessible Stadium plan to uplift facilities for disabled supporters.
