Mexican fans are known for their loud celebrations whenever Mexico wins a game, but this time, they celebrated a victory from another side that helped them through to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup.
After Mexico's 3-0 loss against Sweden, fans were glued to their TV sets to know if South Korea pulled off a stunner against Germany. Once the Taeguk Warriors completed their 2-0 win over Die Mannschaft, fans took it to the streets to celebrate their KO stage ticket, and they found it in themselves to visit the South Korean embassy to celebrate.
Surprisingly enough, the South Korean ambassador in Mexico City joined the impromptu party, and fans hoisted him on their shoulders while other shouted "Corea, hermano, ya eres mexicano" which translates to "Korea, my brother, you're Mexican like no other".
