The latest reports from the transfer market suggest that Bayern Munich coach could be headed to Premier League giants Manchester City.

According to former Bayern Munich chairman Ottmar Hitzfeld the celebrated tactician will join Manchester City due to their huge offer that still remains unknown. The Citizens are rumoured to be preparing a lucrative deal for the former FC Barcelona tactician in a bid to lure him to the Etihad Stadium.

According to a report published on Goal, the German claims Man City have offered Pep a better deal than their city rivals the Red Devils. He was quoted as saying:

“I suspect that Pep will leave Bayern, because Manchester City continue turning up with the money.''

“There is no reason to wait until December for a decision, because no titles are awarded now."

As if that is not bad news enough for Man United fans, Bayern Munich’s CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that long-time United target Robert Lewandowski will not leave the Allianz Arena in January. In an interview with Bild, he explained:

"I can imagine Real Madrid is interested in Lewandowski. But it's pointless.''

"He has a contract running three and a half years.''

"I can imagine as well Robert will stay even longer."

"One look at the expiry date of his contract and I am not worried a bit.’’

The Poland international has been in great form for the Bavarians this season, hence attracting the attention of top European clubs such as Real Madrid and Man United. Lewandowski has scored 15 goals for the Bundesliga giants in 15 appearances.
