Three Lions striker Daniel Sturridge scored a wonder goal in England's 3-0 thrashing of Peru, in a friendly, as they prepare for the World Cup in Brazil

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge scored a stunning goal in a friendly match against Peru at Wembley, which the Three Lions won 3-0, as England get prepared for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, starting June 12.

Sturridge, who finished the English Premier League as the second-highest goal-scorer with a tally of 21 goals, opened the scoring in the game, before Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka added the second and third.

But in a match of much little excitement, it was the Merseyside striker's solo effort that stood out as the best moment throughout the 90 minutes, stealing the spotlight in the game.
