Coach Leonardo will guide Internazionale at home to Bayern Munich in his Champions League debut with the Nerazzurri. The ex-Milan man says that he’s not carrying any pressure ahead of tonight’s game.
“I don’t feel the weight of my debut in the Champions League with Inter,” Leonardo said as he spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I am not afraid of anything. After all, my team and I are the champions of the competition and we want to repeat our triumph.

“On the night [of the 2010 Champions League final] in Madrid last year I cheered for Inter.”

This year, Leonardo is confident of experiencing what ex-Inter manager Jose Mourinho enjoyed last season: to taste UEFA Champions League glory. The Nerazzurri may not be the favourites this term, but Coach Leonardo is not looking at this factor.

After succeeding Rafael Benitez as the Nerazzurri’s boss, Leonardo has already made a positive mark on the team. Inter are back in the challenge for the Scudetto and Leonardo could also lift them higher in Europe.
