Earlier this month, Man Utd legend Eric Cantona featured in a video for Eurosport in which he talked about Zlatan’s move to Manchester United. In the video, he praised the Swede’s move to Old Trafford as the ‘best choice he ever made’ and that he was ‘finally home.’

However, he also added that he (Cantona) was the king of Manchester and Zlatan could become the prince if he wanted to. But Zlatan being Zlatan, his ego could not allow him to come second to Cantona. Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet now reports that that 34-year-old former PSG forward has responded to Cantona’s comment by saying;
''I admire Cantona. And I heard what he said. But I won’t be King of Manchester. I will be god of Manchester.''
Zlatan could officially start training with Manchester United this week after taking a brief break since Sweden’s early exit at the European Championship. He could however miss the club’s pre-season fixtures in China, according to reports in England.
