After several tests undergone by the Chilean striker, Arsenal's medical staff dismissed a serious injury to his left foot.

Yesterday, Arsenal fans had something to worry about, after Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey were subbed by Arsene Wenger after coming down with what appeared to be serious injuries. Today, even though Ramsey will be out for at least a month due to his third hamstring injury this season, the Chilean striker could be available for this weekend's FA Cup match against Middlesbrough.

According to the team's doctor, Sanchez "narrowly escaped a very serious injury after being harshly tackled by Matthew Upson. After a series of tests, Coach Wenger will be able to use him in the team's upcoming matches," the club doctors stated. Nevertheless, Le Prof may want to rest Sanchez this weekend, since the UEFA Champions League knockout stage is coming soon, and he will need the Chilean fully fit.

After leaving the pitch injured, Sanchez used his Twitter feed to let know fans how he felt. In his message, Alexis led to believe he hadn't recovered from his previous injury, which forced him to miss the Gunners' previous matches against Aston Villa and Tottenham.

On the other hand, Ramsey's injury may represent a serious blow for Arsenal's midfield, since the player could be out of commission until mid-March. Arsene Wenger shared his thoughts on the matter, hinting he blamed himself for the player's most-recent injury.

“It doesn’t look good when a guy stops straight away and sits down. I left him out of the starting lineup to be cautious with him. I put him on and it was not the best of decisions," Le Prof added.

The player will remain under medical surveillance to determine how long will he be out of action. In the meantime, Wenger will have to make due without him for the next three weeks, including the Champions League clash against Monaco.
