The Swedish striker answered ironically after he was handed a four game ban for his comments following the game his side lost against Bordeaux.

Always in the middle of controversy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed his dismay due to the latest ban the governing body of Ligue 1 handed him. After the game PSG lost to Bordeaux, Zlatan was caught on camera speaking to the referee, and going on in a rant against the French fans, insulting the country and earning world-wide criticism. Ligue 1 officers investigated the incident and decided to ban Ibrahimovic for the next four games.

After he was made aware of his sanction, Ibrahimovic used his app "Zlatan Unplugged" to voice his "sadness", since he expected the ban to be much longer so he could go home and rest.

"I would've been happier if they had banned me for the rest of the season. That way, I could've gone on vacation much sooner," Zlatan wrote ironically. "There's no ground for them to sanction me, my words were not directed to the game's referee. We had a normal conversation and he confirmed it. If I had said something inappropriate to him, I would've apologized already," the striker added.

Zlatan will miss his team's matches againste Nice, Lille, Metz and Nantes, although he will be able to perform in the Coupe de La Ligue Final against Bastia.
