2025-2029
The Brasileirão Serie A is available through Globo’s pay-per-view service under a four-season deal from 2025-26 to 2028-29, following an agreement between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and two club associations. This contract grants Globo the rights to broadcast a select number of live matches per round through its Premiere platform, with at least nine out of ten matches per matchday available via pay-per-view.

Fans in Brazil can watch live Campeonato Mineiro games on TV Globo, Ge TV, SporTV, and Premiere, courtesy of a broadcast rights deal between the Minas Gerais Football Federation (FMF) and Globo. This agreement is a multi-platform deal covering the 2026 season across free-to-air, pay-TV, and digital platforms.

2023-2026
Globo holds exclusive Copa do Brasil broadcast rights in Brazil in a deal spanning the 2023 to 2026 seasons. As a result, fans in Brazil can watch the majority of Copa do Brasil matches live on Globo networks, including pay-TV sports network SporTV.
It should be noted that while Globo secured the exclusive rights to the Copa do Brazil, the broadcaster sublicensed 54 games per season to Amazon Prime Video, 40 of which are exclusive.

Premiere 5 history, coverage, features
Premiere 5 is one of six channels in the Globo-owned Premiere lineup. It is a Brazilian pay-TV channel available in its home market through major third-party TV providers, with viewers also able to subscribe directly to the platform.Premiere was founded in 1997 and is most popular for broadcasting Brazilian soccer competitions, from national tournaments such as the Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil to regional championships, including the Campeonato Mineiro, Campeonato Gaúcho, Campeonato Carioca, and Copa do Nordeste. Live coverage is available in HD quality.
Additionally, Premiere, which was launched under the name Premiere Esportes, is available in foreign markets. Notably, it can be accessed in the USA through Globo’s subscription-based streaming service, Globoplay. The channel has also been featured on third-party TV providers, such as the streaming service Sling TV.
Premiere 5 and its sister channels (Premiere, Premiere 2-4, and Premiere 6) broadcast in HD quality. Live sports coverage may be subject to blackout in the USA and other foreign markets due to conflicting broadcast rights deals.
