It took the intervention of Mascherano to rescue the superstar who could only watch from his car's window as the former Liverpool man dashed back to pay the dues at the airport ticket machine. The incident reportedly occured on Monday prior to Barcelona's 2-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of the last eight fixtures of the Copa del Rey.
