As the whole world gets set and ready for a fantastic clash between Barcelona and Arsenal, Pep Guardiola already has other things on his mind- Champions League crown.

The former Barcelona player won the Champions League with Barcelona two years ago. Despite that, Guardiola insisted that his side will be able to go far in the competition if the overcome Arsenal at the Nou Camp tonight.

"If we go through then we will go really far in Europe," Guardiola said during a press conference.

"I am convinced that if we beat Arsenal, we will go far in this competition. If we don't get to the quarter-finals then it will not be because of Carles Puyol's injury, or Gerard Pique's suspension.

"Puyol made a massive effort to be there, but recovering from injury takes time, and it is not always possible to be there.

"In anycase, when you want to win trophies then you must rely on the whole squad."

With Barcelona needing a win tonight, Guardiola is also aware of Arsenal's threat when it comes to attack- although Guardiola believes that his team will be prepared for it.

"It's a very important game as it means being in or out. Arsenal are a very good team and have many alternatives. They counter attack, so we need to be careful and attack them with order."
