This action-packed weekend in the English top flight will be extended until Monday, when the Citizens will try to keep the top spot in the league.

The English Premier League could crown its champion in the next few days. Any slip-up by either Manchester City or Liverpool could wrap the title for any of these teams, so there could be some interesting notes to take prior to the beginning of this weekend's matches.

Added to the title race, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, and even Manchester United are involved in a fight for the two remaining spots among the top four. If Tottenham and Chelsea can win their respective games, then Manchester United will be condemned to play in the UEFA Europa League next season. Meanwhile, Arsenal is still in contention for a top-four finish, but losing three games in a row has nearly killed their hopes of leapfrogging Chelsea at No.4.

Last, but not least, the battle to avoid relegation could be sealed this weekend. Cardiff needs to win both of their remaining games, while Brighton would only need a win to secure their spot in the English top flight for the upcoming season. If Brighton drops points against Arsenal, it will all be sorted out next week.
