Man City boss Pep Guardiola made a shocking revelation after his side’s 4-0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. Belgian forward Kevin De Bryune put the hosts ahead in the 15th minute through a well-taken free-kick, and also played a crucial role in Kelechi Iheanacho, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan’s goals for the Citizens.

Speaking to journalists after the match, the Spaniard said that Kevin De Bruyne only comes second to Barcelona star Lionel Messi thanks to his most-recent brilliant performances. The former Chelsea man has contributed to 20 of Chelsea’s last 30 goals Premier League goals. Pep said:
"Maybe Messi can sit alone at the table. But that table aside, Kevin can stay there," Guardiola told reporters at the Etihad Stadium.
"I think he's a special player, an outstanding player. He makes everything. Without the ball he is the first fighter and with the ball he's clear. He sees absolutely everything.
"He decides what you have to do at the right moment every time. Every time he makes the right decision. That's why he is a player at another level.
"I am lucky and we are lucky to have him. We will take care of him and I hope he will enjoy it with us to play his amazing football."
The 25-year-old joined the Citizens in 2015 from German side Vfl Wolfsburg where he had scored 13 goals in 51 league appearances. At Manchester, he has scored nine goals in 30 league appearances. In total, he has played 48 games in all competitions, scored 18 goals and provided 16 assists.
